Cuba has one of the most complex customs systems in the world. Personal parcels are limited to a maximum of 10 kg total weight — shipments above this limit are taxed or detained. Imports of electronics, textiles, and food are subject to quantity limits. ADUANA (Aduana General de la República de Cuba) manages customs clearance. The US embargo means FedEx and UPS do not serve Cuba. DHL is the only international courier for shipments to Cuba. Label parcels as "regalo personal" (personal gift) with a declared value under 50 USD for smoother customs passage.

- CN22 is a simplified customs declaration for parcels up to 2 kg and €270 in value. Completed at the post office or generated by the carrier. Without CN22, the parcel may be held at customs.
