New Zealand has even stricter biosecurity than Australia. GST of 15% applies from the first euro. Customs duty only above 1,000 NZD (~550 EUR). All shipments are screened by MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) for organic materials. Prohibited: everything that could pose a biological threat to New Zealand's unique island ecosystem — seeds, wood (including processed), leather, wool, food, plants, insects, cosmetics with natural ingredients.
