Customs
Vietnam is outside the EU. Personal shipments up to 1,000,000 VND (~40 EUR) are exempt from duty and VAT. Above this value, VAT of 10% and customs duty (0–30% by category) apply. Shipments must carry a CN22 or CN23 with an accurate contents description and value in English. Commercial shipments require a Vietnamese importer and import licence — for personal purposes, a clear description of "personal gift" or "personal use" is sufficient. Vietnam Post cooperates with DHL, FedEx, and postal services via UPU agreements.

Pro zásilku do hodnoty ~40 € stačí CN22 s popisem „Gift" a hodnotou. Příjemce neplatí clo ani DPH. Nad 40 € potřebuješ CN23 + proforma fakturu a příjemce zaplatí DPH 10 % a clo. DHL Express doručí za 4–7 dnů s plnou celní asistencí. Česká pošta je levnější, ale trvá 14–35 dnů bez garance doručení.
