Sendcloud Review, Pricing 2026 and Alternatives
A Sendcloud review with pricing checked on 9 October 2026. Plans from Free to Pro, cost per parcel, who it suits, who it does not and the main alternatives.
Sendcloud promises one dashboard for all your carriers, automatic labels and returns without the emails. It sounds good, and for a lot of shops it really is. But you pay twice: a monthly plan and a fee for every label on top. Not everyone gets that sum back. This Sendcloud review goes after the numbers: what it costs, from how many parcels it makes sense, and what to use in its place.
What Sendcloud is and what it does
Sendcloud is a shipping platform for online shops that brings several carriers into one dashboard and plugs into e-commerce systems. Orders flow in from the shop on their own, you print labels in bulk and the customer gets tracking emails from one place.
Sendcloud is not a carrier. The parcels are moved by DPD, GLS, DHL and others, and Sendcloud is the software between you and them. You can ship at its pre-negotiated rates or connect your own carrier contract. What all this is for, and when to deal with it, is covered in the shipping for e-commerce hub.
Sendcloud pricing in 2026
Sendcloud pricing runs across five plans from €0 to €639 a month, and every paid plan adds a per-label fee on top. Prices are from sendcloud.com, verified on 9 October 2026.
| Plan | Price per month | Labels included | Per label | Beyond the allowance | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 20 | depends on the parcel | not stated | 1 |
| Lite | €28 | 400 | €0.10 | €0.25 | 3 |
| Growth | €87 | 1,000 | €0.09 | €0.24 | 5 |
| Premium | €175 | 10,000 | €0.08 | €0.23 | 10 |
| Pro | €639 | 30,000 | €0.07 | €0.22 | unlimited |
Paid plans have a 14-day trial with no card required and 20% off with yearly billing. Above Pro there is Enterprise with custom pricing. Watch out for one thing that is easy to miss in a price list: the label fee is not the carriage. You pay that separately, either to Sendcloud at its rates or to your carrier under your own contract.
What Sendcloud costs per parcel
Per parcel, Sendcloud costs from roughly €0.14 to €0.38 depending on plan and volume, and that is without carriage. The fewer parcels you send, the more the monthly fee weighs.
- 100 parcels, Lite: 28 + 100 × 0.10 = €38, so €0.38 per parcel
- 400 parcels, Lite: 28 + 400 × 0.10 = €68, so €0.17 per parcel
- 1,000 parcels, Growth: 87 + 1,000 × 0.09 = €177, so €0.18 per parcel
- 3,000 parcels, Premium: 175 + 3,000 × 0.08 = €415, so €0.14 per parcel
The interesting part is what happens above the Lite allowance. On price alone, moving up to Growth only pays from about 744 parcels a month; until then it is cheaper to stay on Lite and pay €0.25 for the extra labels. So take Growth for the features. Not for the allowance. You can run your own numbers in the ROI calculator for online shops.
What you get on each plan
Sendcloud’s plans differ mainly in whether you can connect your own carrier contract and whether you get branded returns and tracking. The number of users and integrations grows with the price.
- Free: Sendcloud rates only, at most 2 integrations, 1 user. For trying it out and for a few parcels a month.
- Lite: your own carrier contracts, at most 3 integrations and 5 automation rules. Support by email and chat.
- Growth: branded returns portal and tracking page, at most 5 integrations and 10 rules, phone support.
- Premium: advanced returns management, tracking analytics, unlimited integrations and rules.
- Pro: a dedicated customer success manager and unlimited users.
The price list has one inconsistency: the Free plan card says 20 parcels a month, while the comparison table below it says “unlimited”. I would count on twenty.
Who Sendcloud suits
Sendcloud pays off for a shop that ships to several countries with several carriers and has more than one person doing the dispatch. You will not save that much on postage. You save time and mistakes, and those are harder to count.
- You ship abroad. One connection in place of three integrations and three portals.
- You send hundreds of parcels a month. The monthly fee dissolves and the rules save manual clicking.
- You deal with returns. The returns portal from Growth upwards takes weight off your support.
- You want to switch carriers without rebuilding your shop.
Who Sendcloud does not suit
Sendcloud does not pay off for a small shop that ships with one carrier inside one country. There you pay a monthly fee for features you will never touch.
- Up to 50 parcels a month. On Lite the software costs you over half a euro per parcel. Free will do, or the carrier’s own portal.
- One carrier, domestic only. A carrier’s own plugin for your shop system tends to be free.
- You ship from a country that is not fully supported. Sendcloud lists Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK as fully supported origin countries, and Czechia, Denmark, Poland, Portugal and Sweden as supported under conditions. Before paying, use the trial to check that your carrier and your contract can actually be connected.
- You depend on cash on delivery and local pickup-point networks in detail. Local tools tend to be better prepared for them.
Sendcloud alternatives
The main Sendcloud alternatives are another multi-carrier tool such as Packlink, direct carrier integrations and a pay-per-shipment broker. Which one fits depends on your volume and on where you ship.
- Packlink. A comparable multi-carrier tool. The differences are worked through in the guide Sendcloud vs Packlink vs direct integration.
- Direct carrier integrations. No monthly fee, but every carrier means its own integration. Where to start is in the shipping for e-commerce hub.
- A pay-per-shipment broker. For a few international parcels a month, you pay only per shipment. See Eurosender vs Sendcloud.
