Customs and VAT for Cuba
Cuba has one of the most complex customs systems in the world. Personal parcels are limited to a maximum of 10 kg total weight — shipments above this limit are taxed or detained. Imports of electronics, textiles, and food are subject to quantity limits. ADUANA (Aduana General de la República de Cuba) manages customs clearance. The US embargo means FedEx and UPS do not serve Cuba. DHL is the only international courier for shipments to Cuba.
