Ghana effectively has no de minimis — all imported goods are subject to customs inspection and taxes. Import Duty ranges 0–35% by HS code. VAT 15% + NHIL 2.5% + GetFund 2.5% = effective tax burden ~20% under the standard regime. Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) manages clearance via the GCNET system. Shipments arrive via Kotoka International Airport in Accra or Tema port — clearance averages 5–14 days.

- CN22 is a simplified customs declaration for parcels up to 2 kg and €270 in value. Completed at the post office or generated by the carrier. Without CN22, the parcel may be held at customs.
