    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

What is a KRA PIN and where does the recipient get one?

The KRA PIN is a personal tax identifier that every person in Kenya has (similar to a national ID number). The recipient can generate one free of charge at itax.kra.go.ke. Without a PIN, customs will hold any parcel worth over 50 USD.
